Föreläsare:
Peter Albrechtsen
Peter Albrechtsen is a Danish sound designer and music supervisor who has done both feature films and documentaries, both domestically and internationally. Among his latest credits as music supervisor are the festival favorites Putin’s Kiss and Dance For Me and the feature film You & Me Forever, which earned him a Danish Academy Award Nomination for Best Sound Design. He has collaborated closely with globally acclaimed musicians such as Antony and the Johnsons, Jóhann Jóhannsson and Efterklang.
Petri Alanko
Petri Alanko, a Finnish composer, sound designer and producer, claims he’s had no missed deadlines since 1990. His output can be heard in numerous games (Alan Wake, Alan Wake’s American Nightmare, Trials Evolution and Hay Day among others), and lately he’s been branching out in the film soundtrack field as well. Petri’s Alan Wake Soundtrack got nominated several times, and won AGMA award for Best Score in 2010. Being classically trained pianist and organist, a move from daily pop to semiorchestral approach of soundtracks was logical, although it took almost 14 years to make that transition. His use of unorthodox methods, geeky gear, and building an instrument/sound library from scratch for each project provides always interesting results.
Pekka Sipilä
Pekka Sipilä has been the Executive Director of the Finnish Music Publishers Association FMPA since 1998. He is also Board member of ICMP, International Confederation of Music Publishers, Vice-Chairman of its Serious Music Publishers Bureau and one of ICMP representatives in the Global Repertoire Database Working Group. He has worked in music publishing business since 1981, is member of various committees within the Finnish Copyright Society TEOSTO and Chairman of Music Finland, the new organisation formed in the merger of Finnish Music Information Centre FIMIC and Music Export Finland.
Moderator Heikki Kossi
Heikki Kossi has worked as a supervising foley artist since year 2001 in feature films, shorts, TV-drama, documentaries and animation films both domestically and internationally. Kossi has been involved with awarded soundtracks like Berberian Sound Studio (British independent film award), The Purge, Rare Exports, Silence (Best sound/Finland) and Planet of Snail (IDFA) among others. His latest works are as a foley artist are Filth (Starring James McAvoy), 8-Ball by Aku Louhimies and 21 Ways to Ruin a Marriage by Johanna Vuoksenmaa.
