Because the Night [2009]

Because the Night utspelar sig under en ljum sommarkväll som trasas sönder av discoljus och öronbedövande musik. Fyra livsöden snuddar vid varandra, fyra väldigt olika personer söker varandras bekräftelse. Gemensamt har de att ingen av dem kan stanna hemma, de är sprängfyllda av både sorg och livsglädje.

Because the Night

Because the night takes place on a mild summers’ eve which in it’s darkest hours gets shreded to pieces by disco light and deafining music. Four destinies touch, four different people are seeking eachothers´attention. What they have in comon is that none of them can stay at home, they are all bristling with sorrow, joy and longing. In the end the morning arives to fill the city with light. We leave them where they are as suddenly as the nights’ spell is broken.
